By Road (Most Convenient)
Mulki is located on NH-66 (old NH-17), the coastal highway connecting Mangalore and Udupi. It is very well connected by road.
- From Mangalore: ~25 km, about 35–40 minutes by car or bus
- From Udupi: ~35 km, about 45–50 minutes
- From Bangalore: ~370 km via Hassan, about 6–7 hours
- From Goa: ~250 km south on NH-66, about 4–5 hours
🚌 KSRTC buses run frequently between Mangalore and Udupi, stopping at Mulki. Auto-rickshaws and taxis are available from Mulki town to the beach.
By Train
The nearest railway station is Mulki Railway Station — right in town on the Mangalore–Mumbai Konkan Railway line. Several express and passenger trains stop here daily.

- Trains from Udupi reach Mulki in ~35 minutes
- From Goa (Madgaon): ~3.5 hours by Konkan Railway
By Air
The nearest airport is Mangalore International Airport (IXE), about 35 km from Mulki. It has daily flights from Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Delhi and international flights from the Middle East.
